This Gabbio Privacy Policy explains how Gabbio (“ Gabbio ”, “ we ” , “ us )Gabbio respects the privacy of users, subscribers, publishers, members and others of its Services (collectively or individually, "you" or a "User") and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose personal information from you.

Gabbio Services may share personal information when you use the Gabbio Services. One example is when you provide information about yourself during the account creation process. Another example is when you take certain actions on the Gabbio Services that are public or intended to be public, such as when you broadcast content, post profile information, follow, or subscribe. Given the social nature of some of the Gabbio Services , this information may be collected, used, or disclosed by others participating in that social interaction. In addition, certain features of the Gabbio Services are designed to provide information about user activity to others, such as identifying the user who created a particular clip or the user's subscription status for a particular channel. We encourage you to be aware of this when considering your activities on the Gabbio Services.

What Information We Collect

Gabbio obtains information about you in the following ways when providing Gabbio Services. Please note that we require certain types of information in order to be able to provide you with Gabbio Services.

User-Provided Information

You may provide some or all of the following personal information when using Gabbio services, such as uploading content on the application or contacting us for technical support:

Registration Information: your email, user identifier, and language;

Profile information: your alias, profile picture, gender, and self-introduction;

User Generated Content (UGC): comments, text, messages, pictures, images, videos, sounds, codes or other data or materials that you upload, distribute or stream when using the Gabbio Services;

Facial data: collected when you use certain features we provide to create special effects or expressions for your live broadcast or pictures you upload on Gabbio services, but such data will only be processed offline to achieve special effects or expressions and will not be used for other purposes unless you obtain your explicit consent or convert it into de-identified data. In addition, we will not use your facial data for marketing or advertising, nor will we share it with any third party. If you use real-person head portrait authentication, we will collect your head portrait and facial recognition video for authentication by comparing your head portrait with the facial recognition video, with your consent. This authentication protects you from imposters and fake accounts, or improves the authenticity of Gabbio services. We do not retain your facial recognition videos in our servers, and such videos are only used for verification.

Payment information: such as bank account number, Paypal or other information required for payment;

Transaction information: such as the transaction serial number and transaction history after you purchase paid services;

Choices and communications: choices you opt-in to and communications with us, such as information to verify your account or address your feedback or complaints;

Survey and activity information: Information you provide when participating in in-app surveys and activities;

Social Media Information: Information you provide when you create a Gabbio account by connecting to a third-party social media (such as Google) or when you link your Gabbio account with a third-party social media account.

Information automatically collected for legitimate interests

When using Gabbio Services for legitimate interests, we may automatically collect some or all of the following personal information:

Web activity information: such as your browsing history, search history, videos or pages visited, date and time of visit, other users' accounts you subscribe to, and information about your interactions with other users;

Information from other sources: For example, we may obtain information from third parties and sources outside of Gabbio Services, including games or services you use, or social media networks (such as Google) that you have given us access to. When you access Gabbio Services through a social media network or connect a Gabbio Service to a social media network, you authorize Gabbio to collect, store and use such other information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy;

Device identifiers: such as your operating system, browser type, mobile device make, model and serial number, IP address, mobile carrier, screen resolution, language settings, IMEI number, IMSI number and Media Access Control address;

App Usage Information: information about your access to and use of other apps;

Mobile advertising identifiers: used by mobile operating systems and provided to advertising providers to collect metrics on mobile apps (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s AAID) to help us and advertisers provide ads that may be more relevant to your interests;

Metadata: Metadata associated with UGC you provide to us that describes the other data and provides information about how, when, by whom the UGC was collected, and how it was formatted, such as hashtags used to tag keywords for videos and captions;

Cookies: Small pieces of data that enable us to provide certain features, collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand the pages you click on and how you use Gabbio Services, thereby enhancing your experience using Gabbio Services.

We may also collect, use, and share your information to generate and share aggregated insights that do not identify you. Aggregated data may be derived from your Personal Information but is not considered Personal Information because it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users who access a particular website feature, generate statistics about our users, calculate the percentage of users who access a particular website feature, or count the number of ad impressions served or clicked.

The storage and access of cookies associated with Gabbio Services are governed by the Gabbio Cookie Policy (“Cookie Policy”).

The permissions we retrieve

We may need to use the system permissions in your device (excluding permissions for third-party calls) to collect relevant personal information. Although we have already touched upon this in the previous section, this section will summarize all the system permissions we use to facilitate a more systematic, complete and transparent presentation to you. You can choose whether to authorize us to use the relevant permissions of your device. If you do not authorize us to use the relevant permissions, some services may be unavailable, but it will not affect your use of other functions.

1. Photo album and storage permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the photo album reading and storage function on your device. This function will be used to upload text, images, videos and other content in your device, and can also cache text, images, and video content generated during your use of products or services. Please be aware that we will not automatically read the storage content of your local photo album. We will only obtain image/video data after you agree to enable this permission and actively select the corresponding image in the photo album. If you refuse this authorization, the aforementioned functions will not work properly.

2. Microphone permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the microphone function on your device and recognize the voice information you upload. This permission will be used to implement voice input and voice change functions, and to collect and recognize the voice information input during the implementation of the above functions. If you refuse this authorization, the above functions will not be available.

3. Message push permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will push messages to you so that you can receive and understand our notifications in a timely manner. If you refuse this authorization, you will not be able to receive the messages we push to you.

4. Camera permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the camera function on your device. This function will be used to take photos and record videos, and collect and identify the pictures and videos taken or recorded during the implementation of the above functions. If you refuse this authorization, the above functions will not be available.

5. Floating window permissions

In order to float the "Voice Chat Room" on other content, we will apply for your floating window permission. If you refuse such authorization, the above function will not be available.

6. Device Information Access Rights

After you agree to enable this permission, in order to protect your account and login security, we will collect your corresponding device information for optimizing user experience, security checks, identifying whether it is a commonly used device, and device binding status. If you are an Android user, your refusal to grant this authorization will result in your inability to use this product and/or service normally. If you are an iOS user, you may not be able to directly refuse or close the above authorization due to the limitations of the iOS system, but for some device information (for example: IDFA information, which is subject to the actual situation updated from time to time by the iOS system policy), you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to authorize, we may not be able to provide you with the corresponding functions or services (for example: if you refuse us to collect your IDFA information, we will not be able to provide you with personalized display based on the IDFA tracking identifier).

7. Access the network and obtain network status permissions

Our APP can only connect to the Internet after you agree to enable this permission. At the same time, for the purpose of risk control and service provision, we can also monitor network changes and remind users of the current network environment. If you refuse this authorization, you will not be able to use this product or service normally.

User analytics: Determine whether users of the Gabbio Services are unique or whether the same user uses the Gabbio Services multiple times, and monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, number of videos viewed, demographic patterns.

Functionality and safety

Security and problem diagnosis: Identify users who do not meet age restrictions, diagnose or fix technical problems, and detect, prevent, and respond to actual or potential fraud, illegal activity, or intellectual property infringement.

Legal and Terms Compliance: To enforce our Terms of Use and comply with our legal obligations.

We encourage users who reside in California to designate an authorized agent to exercise their privacy rights on their behalf. Changes and Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may modify or revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. Although we may try to notify you when we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, you should still review the latest version of the Privacy Policy regularly to be aware of any changes as they are binding on you.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account by clicking "Delete Account" on the "My"-"Settings" page. You know and understand that the cancellation of an account is irreversible. When you cancel your account, you will not be able to log in and use our products with that account.
